Tinubu congratulates Archbishop Daniel at 65

Archbishop Praise Daniel with Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Archbishop Johnpraise Daniel, the presiding Bishop of Dominion Chapel International Church, as he marks his 65th birthday on May 2.

In a statement on Thursday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President applauded Archbishop Daniel’s enduring contributions to national unity, interfaith dialogue, and humanitarian service.

As Chairman of the Pentecostal Bishops Forum, covering the 19 northern states and the Federal Capital Territory, the Archbishop has played a pivotal role in promoting peace and religious harmony in some of the country’s most diverse and complex regions.

Tinubu praised the cleric’s active participation in prominent faith-based organizations, including the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), the Nigeria Inter-Religious Council (NIREC), and the Interfaith Advisory Committee Against Corruption.

Through these platforms, Archbishop Daniel has served as a moral compass and advocate for ethical governance, the President noted.

Tinubu also commended the Archbishop’s mentorship of gospel ministers and his philanthropic efforts through the JohnPraise Foundation for Peace and Human Development, which has impacted lives across communities.

The President recalled the Archbishop’s sermon, “Better Together in Renewed Hope and Restoration,” delivered at the 2023 Presidential Inauguration Service, describing the message as “inspiring” and deeply aligned with his administration’s vision for national rebirth and collective progress.

“Archbishop Daniel’s life has been one of faithful service in the Lord’s vineyard, marked by unwavering dedication, scholarship, and impactful ministry across Nigeria and beyond,” Tinubu said.

He offered prayers for the Archbishop’s continued strength, wisdom, and divine grace as he continues to provide spiritual guidance and moral leadership in society.
