Tinubu far ahead of Atiku, Obi in experience, says APC youth leader

Ahead of the 2023 poll, a chieftain of the All progressive congress (APC), Hon. Mike Msuaan insist that the presidential candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is far ahead of his rivals of the opposition peoples democratic party (PDP) and the Labour party (LP), Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi.

Msuaan who is the Director of National Youth Mobilisation North Central of the campaign council who met with scores of party stalwarts in Abuja referred to Tinubu’s antecedents as Governor of Lagos state to buttress his assertions.

The Benue born politician assured that both the LP and the PDP would not pose any threat to the chances of Tinubu sweeping the presidential poll in the 2023 poll.

He disclosed that his group have finalized the strategy aimed at ensuring that Tinubu sweep 70 percent of ballots in the north central geopolitical zone on election day.

He also faulted the notion held in certain quarters that Tinubu may not be able to live up to his responsibilities if he emerges president of the country due to his age.

According to him: “We didn’t see Asiwaju contesting with Atiku and Peter Obi. We know what Atiku did to this country. He threw the youths of north central and this country to the street.

“The privatisation exercise that he mishandled drove the youths of this country to be jobless. Under Atiku as vice president, over $16 billion was invested and up till now we are still in darkness. Is that the person that should rule us? Or are we talking of Peter Obi who has zero records in Anambra state?

“We are equal to the task. We have somebody who is competent and whose antecedents have been speaking for him and would speak for him. This is somebody whose economic plan in Lagos is still being copied in other states. The two of them are nowhere comparable to Tinubu.
Under Tinubu there would be total liberation for the youths and wealth creation.”

Continuing, he noted: “The President of the united states of America (USA) is as old as Tinubu. It’s not about age, it’s about what you have upstairs. Tinubu has experienced better than all of them. The right thing the president would do is to assemble the best hands for the country. He has been tested and trusted. He did it in Lagos and he is going to do it for Nigeria.”

Asked if the APC is comfortable with the use of BVAS and electronic transmission of election results, he retorted: “Why should the APC be afraid of BVAS and electronic transfer of results when the youths are strongly behind us. Why should we be afraid? I told you that if the election is conducted tomorrow we are going to win.

“They are the ones running after us. We have already given them more than 30 percent gap ahead. And by tomorrow if elections are conducted we would give them more than 50 percent. We are very comfortable with the arrangement made by INEC.

“We are going to win with that because that has taken care of the manipulation of those who want to do yahoo yahoo on election day. Asiwaju is the next president of this country by the grace of God.”
