Tinubu hails renowned prof. of electrical engineering, Adegbulugbe, at 68

The President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has congratulated Prof. Anthony Adegbulugbe on his 68th birthday.

The President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has congratulated Prof. Anthony Adegbulugbe on his 68th birthday.
Tinubu noted the many academic and professional accomplishments of Adegbulugbe in the fields of electrical engineering, climate change, and entrepreneurship, praising him for his contributions to national development and knowledge globally.
The President-elect and Prof. Adegbulugbe were both awardees at the seventh convocation ceremony of Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti in 2019 where they bagged honourary doctorate degrees alongside the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Mohammed Sa’ad Abubakar III, and the Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe.
“I rejoice with Professor Anthony Adegbulugbe on this special occasion of his 68th birthday. It is gratifying that Adegbulugbe reached this age with great achievements under his belt and he can look back with thanksgiving to God for a life of purpose and great contribution to human progress, nationally and globally.
“In his chosen field of academic pursuit, Adegbulugbe is acknowledged as a leading light. He is also a serial entrepreneur and energy expert. His over four decades of experience in academia, business, and the government will remain a huge inspiration for many young people for years to come.
“I join family, friends, admirers, and professional colleagues of Adegbulugbe to celebrate this extraordinary Nigerian and global citizen for his life of service and immense contribution to knowledge and research. I wish him many more years in good health and happiness.”
