Tolulope Aremu honoured for contributions to manufacturing excellence

Tolulope Aremu was honoured in Abuja in October 2024, as Prowess University, Delaware, USA, conferred upon him an honorary doctorate in Engineering.

Though Aremu was not physically present at the event, the award recognised his exceptional leadership in the field of manufacturing operations.

His expertise in process optimisation, lean manufacturing, and energy conservation was highlighted, reflecting his impact on enhancing operational efficiency.

The ceremony emphasised Aremu’s dedication to mentorship and talent development. His efforts in guiding engineering technicians and fostering a culture of integrity, compliance, and continuous improvement have led to better retention and increased managerial capabilities within his teams. Aremu’s comments on the award, delivered after its announcement, expressed his honour and commitment to continued innovation.

Additionally, his research in sustainable industrial solutions, such as the urinal water sprinkler with a disinfectant dispenser and a gain scheduling controller for a three-tank system, received particular attention.
