“Thank God the case is finally over, I was expecting that otu will retain his seat as the governor of Cross River. Its a victory for Southern Senatorial district, APC and the entire Cross River State.” He stated.
Also reacting, Clement Odey, expressed satisfaction over the rulling and was optimistic that the governor would have time to concentrate on governing the state without distraction.
his words, “Now that the court has given it’s final judgement, Prince Otu will concentrate on governance. The court case was a kind of distraction to him and his administration, that alone calls for celebration.”
On his part, a supporter of the PDP, Ene Essien said, ” Well, before now, I knew everything will be screwed in favour of Prince Otu, but anything can still happen if PDP decides to go to Supreme court, Sandy can still come and take over as the governor of the state, they should not be too happy over this victory.”
