The Council Committee Chairman on Security, University of Ibadan (UI), Prof. Ademola Aremu, has said that the university is reviewing its security apparatus to forestall future attacks.

Aremu, who stated this during a visit to the female hostel attacked by gunmen in company of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Idowu Olayinka, said that the police were working hard to track the invaders.

According to him, the invaders have shown pattern in their operation by attacking female students during holidays when halls are sparsely populated.

Meanwhile, the Oyo State Police Command said it would soon clampdown on the perpetrators of the attack.
