A Nigerian woman and University of East London lecturer, Dr. Jummy Okoya, has made the list of top 50 most inspirational Black Women in the United Kingdom (UK).

Okoya, who is also a promoter of Equality and Diversity (E&D), was named number four on the list.

A senior lecturer in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management, an International Consultant and speaker, Okoya chairs the Women’s Network at the University of East London and was part of the team that pioneered internal staff networks for women at the university.

The network of more than 350 members was founded in 2016 and offers developmental support for women in leadership globally.
