Veteran journalist bags traditional title
The District Head of DogonDaji in Sultanate Council Area of Sokoto State, Alhaji Nasiru Shehu Umar, will on Saturday, April 28,2018, turban Alhaji Kabiru Bello DogonDaji as the Durumbun DogonDaji.
A statement issued by Elder Ayodele Ajoge on behalf of committee of friends and members of the Correspondents’ chapel, Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kebbi State, indicated that the ceremony comes up by 10 am at the Fadan Sarki Yamman, DogonDaji.
Alhaji Kabiru Bello DogonDaji, until his turbaning, is a prolific veteran journalist. He is a correspondent with the Blue Print Newspapers in Kebbi State. He has served the chapel in various capacities as secretary and later as chairman.
