Vicamen Chorale / Orchestra Foundation recently held Christmas Carol in Lagos Its members, made up of choristers from different church denominations, performed different Christmas and gospel songs to the delight of religious leaders, CEOs, heads of Schools and entrepreneurs who attended the event.

The Founder and music director, Vicamen Chorale /Orchestra Foundation, Pharm Victor Akhimien, said that the music foundation, which has been creating awareness to revive Hymns and classical songs for eight years, decided to celebrate the session with a Christmas carol to thank God for keeping the country together, and also celebrate the birth of Jesus ChristSinging Christmas carol in its original format by way of Orchestra can revive the spirit of Christmas. The Foundation is made up of men and women from different churches coming together to revive Hymns and classical songs. Apart from the Christmas carols, gospel songs were also sung at the event.

The foundation has assisted to create employment for youths. We are open to be hired by anybody at events. Apart from the Christmas carol, other programmes would be carried out by the foundation next year. Hymns and classical songs help to build the mind and soul. The foundation has enjoyed sponsorship from various organisations, especially Pharmaceutical companies. We hope to hold three concerts next year ” he said.
