We’re not recruiting, says Immigration
The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has denied conducting any recruitment exercise, contrary to an online report.
Comptroller General of Immigration, Muhammad Babandede, in a communiqué yesterday, stated that the agency’s attention was drawn to a fake recruitment duping unsuspecting job-seekers on behalf of NIS.
According to the communiqué signed by the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of NIS, Sunday James, “the service is dissociating itself from the exercise and is advising Nigerians against subscribing to it because no recruitment is ongoing in the service.”
