We’ve not fixed date for presidential election judgment, says PEPC
The Presidential Elections Petition Court (PEPC) has debunked reports that it fixed September 16 to deliver judgment on petitions challenging the election of President Bola Tinubu.
Some reports, earlier yesterday, claimed the PEPC fixed the date to deliver its verdict on petitions filed by presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, and his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) counterpart, Atiku Abubakar, challenging the victory of Tinubu in the February 25, 2023 election.
Reacting, Secretary of the PEPC panel, Josephine J. Ekperobe, denied the claim, which had stirred a lot of discourse among netizens, particularly on X (formerly Twitter), saying: “No date yet.”
