Ekiti State University (EKSU) has said that it has not turned out quacks as medical doctors, but world-class medical doctors it can be proud of.

Ekiti State University (EKSU) has said that it has not turned out quacks as medical doctors, but world-class medical doctors it can be proud of.

EKSU College of Medicine recently graduated its first set of medical students after 10 years of study, due to delayed accreditation.

Briefing newsmen in Ado-Ekiti at the weekend, the College of Medicine provost, Professor Kehinde Oluwadiya, blamed poor funding for the late accreditation of the medical courses.

The Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) recently visited the university and gave a five-year approval for the accreditation of the medical programme.
