ALL Progressive Congress (APC) Woman Leader for South West, Chief (Mrs) Kemi Nelson played host to hordes of political associates last Sunday in her Ikeja, Lagos residence. The event was the 2016 edition of her annual New Year shindig.

Looking charming and cheerful, the former Lagos State Commissioner for Woman Affairs and Poverty Alleviation under the administration of Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was full of thanks to all her supporters, family and friends who turned up for the occasion. Notable among those in attendance were Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu, the lawmaker representing Ikeja Constituency II at the Lagos State House of Assembly, whose stay at the party was brief because of other state functions.

Other party chieftains at the event included Chief Funso Ologunde, Hon. Babatunde Oke, Hon Tayo Aderinola and a host of others. A very influential political figure in Lagos state, Chief (Mrs) Nelson has contributed immensely to the growth of democracy in Nigeria.
