Why digitalisation of health care delivery desirable — Don

The Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the University College Hospital (UCH), Prof. Jesse Otegbayo; the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), and a Consultant Neurologist at the UCH, Dr. Temitope Farombi, have called on the government to formulate policies and build infrastructure  to ensure the digitalisation of healthcare in order to save more lives.

They made the call during the official launch of  health  EMR software (OHEALTH) with the theme: ‘’Digitalising Healthcare in Nigeria ; Role of Private Sector Partnership’’, which was held at Penrise Event Centre, Bodija, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

Otegbayo, who was the keynote  speaker at the event, was represented by  a senior officer of the teaching hospital,  Dr. Olusola Olawoye.
