• Barau Deserves To Head Senate — APC Northwest Youth

A legal luminary, Henry Endeley, has called on the power brokers in the All Progressives Congress (APC) and political gatekeepers in Nigeria to support the Senate Chief Whip, Orji Uzor Kalu to emerge as the next Senate President.

Henry Endeley said he had known Kalu for over 40 years as his schoolmate at the University of Maiduguri, pointing out that the former Governor of Abia State remains the best person for the job. The lawyer made the call while addressing journalists in Ibadan, Oyo State.

He stated that Kalu possessed exceptional leadership skills, experience, and competence for the job, adding that Kalu would not allow the executive under his watch to undermine Nigerians.

“He successfully piloted the affairs of his state and completed eight years tenure, leaving the state in a good trajectory, he will do better if he becomes the Senate President.

“He is a unifier who understands the deep-rooted differences between the ethnic groups and nationalities of the nation with respect for our respective choices of religion or mode of worship.

Similarly, the All Progressives Congress, (APC) Northwest Youths have said that Senator Jibrin Barau from Kano State deserves to be the next Senate President due to his long-time commitment to the betterment of the country and his usual character of putting the people’s interest first.

The APC Northwest youth wing said that Nigeria needs someone with integrity as Senate President and Barau fits into the position as a result of his honest and transparent dealings with others.

In a statement, APC Northwest Youth Leader, Abdulhamid Umar Moh’d (Oscar), said the lawmaker is capable of handling a diverse hallowed chamber because he is diplomatic and experienced.
