Women group marks 10th anniversary with book launch, conference

African Women in Leadership Organisation (AWLO) is set to mark its 10th anniversary with a platform for Africa women to network, brainstorm and collaborate. 

The event, holding from July 19th to 21st 2018, at Shehu Musa Yar’ Adua Center, Abuja Nigeria, with the theme “Creating Transgenerational Impact through Innovative Leadership”, has Her Excellency, Chief Dr. Jewel-Howard Taylor, Vice President of Liberia as the keynote speaker and Her Excellency, Mrs. Aisha Buhari, wife of the President of Nigeria as chief host.

In a statement yesterday by the founder of AWLO, Dr. Elisha Attai, the body disclosed that the conference would give African women the opportunity to improve themselves as well as proffer solutions to Africa’s challenges.

High point of the 10th anniversary, as indicated in the statement is the unveiling and decoration of ‘100 Amazons’ profiled in the book African Women Of Worth – Celebrating 100 Amazons. Vol 1 by AWLO Founder; Dr. Elisha Attai.
