Burdened by the need to set up a befitting security outfit for all Igbos, Council of World Igbo Congress has summoned Igbo Stakeholders to a meeting on March 28, 2020 in Boston, Massachusetts.

Board Chairman, Prof. Anthony Ejiofor and members of the Executives of the Council told The Guardian in a phone chat that the meeting which would be hosted by Chief Chuba Bonny Chibueze on behalf of Igbo Organisation of New England (IONE), would consider matters arising from the disputed Imo governorship election and the failure of Eastern governors to establish Igbo security outfit that would ensure the security of all Igbos just as other regions are doing for their people.

Public Relations Officer, Hon Basil Onwukwe enjoins all Igbo stakeholders in New England and indeed the Northeast geopolitical zone, to rally support for maximum attendance.
