Get Guardian on GoogleThe World Igbo Congress (WIC) has said the killing of young Igbo Christians by soldiers and herdsmen will be discussed at its forthcoming conference.
The group says it will hold the conference in collaboration with Nigerian Christian Lives Matter and other media groups.
The Chairman of the board of the WIC, Anthony Ejiofor, and legal personalities will be addressing the World Media Council on the killings and the steps taken to get justice for the victims, the group said in a statement.
Also, the WIC called for information or evidence that will aid in identifying and punishing those involved in the killings in Emene, Enugu State, last month.
Speaking on behalf of the congress, the Public Relations Officer, Basil Onwukwe, stated that it was important for all Igbo men and women to join hands and expose atrocities in the land.
