One of the most recognizable and famous celebrities on the planet, singer, rapper, songwriter, and actor Drake, is no stranger to partnerships and collaborations. In recent months, he has become very engaged in other forms of entertainment and is now a streamer as well. The five-time Grammy Award winner is a passionate online gambler and enjoys streaming his gameplay sessions. In the most recent developments, he joined Adi Ross, a popular YouTuber and streamer, in a 6-hour stream. They partnered with Stake and Kick, two leading platforms in their respective fields, delivered some surprises for the viewers, and revealed some news.

Drake also read some fan mail and letters.

The other reason why the stream happened, and why was Adin Ross co-hosting it, is because he is making a Kick streaming return after a long absence. Riss has been absent from the platform for months and there were hints that he was leaving it for good. However, in a surprising turn of events, Adin said that he is staying on the platform and then appeared alongside Drake on the rapper’s Drizzmas stream on December 26. During the show, Adin confirmed that his comeback stream was going to happen in about a week and then asked Drake to take part in it. Of course, the Canadian star accepted immediately. 

Their deal is for Drake to produce the comeback stream on Kick. Adin asked him at one point, maybe you can be on my comeback stream? Maybe you could just write my whole comeback stream?” Drake responded promptly, saying, he would “love to” be a part of it and asked in what form that would be, adding, “I’d love to do the production for it, at least. I’d love to be on set with a headset.” So in the new year, the first week of January 2025, the fans can expect a big Adin Ross stream on KIck sponsored by Stake and featuring Drake. But that is not all, as Ross later upped the game, asking whether they could do it in Drake’s famous Toronto mansion, called The Embassy, in the form of a sleepover. The superstar just said, “Sure, I’ll do it.” This could very well be an even bigger stream than when Adin Ross interviewed Donald Trump! 

Gifting the Viewers and Making Dreams Come True

A big part of the stream was the pair giving away money and making wishes come true. One of the fans who wrote in, Ashley, had her letter read on stream. Drake read that she lives some two hours from Toronto with her husband and son and that they had lost their infant second son shortly after he was born. They never knew how sick he was before birth and were struggling to cope with it for months after the tragedy. Their older son is turning 3 and they entered the dream vacation sweepstakes to recuperate. So the pair called Ashley live and she, together with her husband and daughter, were brought into the stream! 

“Oh my gosh, I’m like shaking right now, I can’t believe this!” Were her first words live, and who wouldn’t be? Drake asked where she and her family would like to go. “Anywhere in the world you guys want to go, you pick the date, the destination, and we’re sending you there. I hope it brings your family some joy and some peace. “ He continued, “I can’t imagine what you went through, we all send our condolences, our love, I hope it puts a smile on everybody’s face.” She thanked them, they put them in touch with their people and they will get to have a trip of a lifetime. “I want an update on the trip!” said Drake, “You gotta send us a picture from your dream vacation.” 

Drake then pulled another letter from the box and he and Adin were ready to award another vacation. It was about a recently engaged couple whose dream was to go to Disneyworld, but they had never had enough money saved up. They wanted their honeymoon to be there but had to let the dream go because of her father passing away. It was tough emotionally and financially, so a trip would mean so much. Then they called Jordyn and Connor, and it’s safe to say they were ecstatic. “You can go wherever you want, you can change it,” said Drake, in case they wanted to go to a different place now that they get a dream vacay. “Whatever helps your romance blossom,” said the rapper. 

The final dream vacation was for a Canadian family, a son Sean Paterson, who wanted to take his father, wife, and son, on a trip around Canada. It was a trip his dad and mom, who recently passed away, had dreamed of all their lives. Drake almost got teary-eyed and asked the production to put on the Canadian national anthem before calling Sean. “I’m so happy to do this for you, whatever it takes. We’re gonna figure it out. You, your day, your baby, whoever else. This is one of my favorite stories.” Drake added, “You have a desire and a message that’s so selfless, for your father, to honor that legacy, that dream.” Concluding, the singer added, ”You guys are A1 Canadians, cross-country Canada trip to honor mom. Australia Concert Giveaways

The duo then went on to give away some concert tickets and make the fans’ dreams come true, watching Drake live during his Australia concert. The first letter was from two friends from Canada, and Australia on their bucket list, who never got to watch the singer live. Their dream is to see Drake together and the concert down under is the perfect chance. Adin then called Scott who was with a bunch of people. “I’m gonna see you boys in Australia, wassup?” said Drake. Scott said his favorite Drake songs are Get Along Better, Do Not Disturb, and No Tellin’. “I’m gonna have to add one of those as my extra song.” Drake got into what he and his friend can expect at the concert, saying, “Your flight is taken care of, your hotel is taken care of, we’re gonna give you some spending money, and I’m gonna make sure they bring you backstage.” He also said they could choose which concert to go to, as his Aussie tour spans all the major cities. The second concert tickets went to a recently married couple. The fan said he is a huge Drake fan and that Australia is a great honeymoon spot. He yelled “Drizzyyyyyyy!” when he answered, shot in hand, in great spirits, and with his wife under his arm. “I proposed in Norway, eloped in Hawaii, and we’re looking for a honeymoon spot.” Drake said, “All flights, all hotels, a little spending money. We’re gonna set honeymoon vibes.” The singer is feeling the stories and making sure to allow the fans to have custom experiences. Adin added, “I love the energy!”.

Drake and Adin then went on to give more personalized gifts. Reading letters from people who needed specific things, they first gave away a family car to Karina and she was stoked to live with her daughter. “We’re gonna fix this problem for you. We might send a car to your dad and then I’ll give you your own car.”  They then called Ryan, who also needed a car. “We’re gonna get you a vehicle for the family. Ryan gets $25,000.” He was there with his kids and he is getting both the money and a car. The third prize was for three sisters in Florida. It was for the one who is pregnant and Drake will get them a car. On top of that, Adin and Drake will each give them $20,000 on top of the car. 

Nathaniel was next, a guy from the UK who showed Drake his music setup along with a framed Drake album cover on the wall. To him, speaking to the singer was as big as winning the giveaway. “We’re gonna take care of rent for mom. And from me, I’m gonna give you $20,000 towards the music.” Drizzy knows best how difficult it is to make it. “I remember that so vividly,” he said reminiscing on the start of his career. Money for the studio and his career? He is a real one, without a doubt. Nathaniel praised his idol for being an inspiration and was obviously shaken in the most positive way possible. Martin was woken up in the most unsurprising way possible when Adin and Drake called him. He had just woken up, at 6 AM, and realized he won the giveaway. Ross said, “I’m gonna put some money in to,” and Drake said, “We’re gonna send you a lot more than what you asked.” He asked for help with his rent and renovations after a flooding disaster in Austria, so this money will go a long way. The pair aided a lot more people, too many to count in one article, and changed plenty of lives. One of the most devastating was a cancer diagnosis caused by medical negligence for a person who was going to need therapy for 5 years and needed help. They tuned Anna in who was shaking. “You won $250,000 tonight,” said Drake. “I didn’t think I would win, and I’m sitting here playing Sims, crying,” she said, crying from happiness for this help for her mom.
