Yilwatda lauds Tinubu’s infrastructure drive in S’East

Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda

* Group urges unity, reconciliation, commitment for APC success

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, yesterday said that the numerous projects being executed by President Bola Tinubu across the South-East states would give him the upper hand over other presidential candidates during the coming general elections.

Yilwatda stated this at the Abakaliki Township Stadium during a mega rally organised by the Ebonyi State government and Minister of Works, David Umahi, in which Tinubu and other APC candidates for next year’s general election were adopted.

He noted that what the President has done for the zone has not been done by any other President. He expressed confidence that Tinubu will not only win in Ebonyi State but also the entire South-East.

Meanwhile, Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Nwifuru, yesterday, declared that the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has no place in the state in next year’s general election.

He referenced some of the projects, including the dualisation of the Enugu /Abakaliki axis, Enugu/Onitsha, Enugu/Okigwe/ Aba to Port Harcourt, and the Calabar super highway connecting Ebonyi, Benue, and Nasarawa to Abuja, adding that the projects are too numerous to count.

MEANWHILE, the South-East Zonal Coordinator of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) Door-to-Door Movement, Amb. Precious Emmanuel Ine has called for unity, reconciliation, and members’ commitment to ensure the party’s success in the upcoming elections, following the successful conclusion of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries across various levels.

She expressed her appreciation to every aspirant, delegate, party stakeholder, and loyal member who participated in the democratic process, saying it has once again demonstrated the party’s strength and maturity.

The coordinator urged members and aspirants who may not have emerged victorious in the primaries to remain steadfast, loyal, and committed to the ideals of our party.

“While electoral contests may produce winners and others who must await another opportunity, the APC remains one united family with a common purpose and shared destiny.”
