The candidates must have passed their West African Examination Certificate (WAEC) with five credits, including English and Mathematics.
A member of the state technical committee on revitalisation of basic and secondary education, Mohammed Abba Isa, disclosed this yesterday in Damaturu while briefing journalists on disables’ education at the tertiary level.
He said: “Governor Maimala Buni has approved the selection of 20 persons with physical disabilities across the 17 local councils in the state who passed with five credits, including Mathematics and English, in their O’ level for immediate consideration for traveling to Turkey for their university studies under Yobe State undergraduate scholarship programme.”
