“The hoodlums gave me the beating of my life in a bid to elicit information about my father’s whereabouts,” Ezeh said in tears.

He said the hoodlums claimed to be militants operating in the area.
According to him, they accused his father, Silva Chukuyeremka Ezeh of testifying against one of their members over a land matter.

Ezeh said the militants threatened to kill him if he failed to volunteer useful information that could lead to his father’s capture.
