Zulum unveils health education projects

Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum has unveiled five projects in the health and economic sectors to improve living conditions of people in Hawul Council Area.

Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum has unveiled five projects in the health and economic sectors to improve living conditions of people in Hawul Council Area.

He said the hospital and primary healthcare centre are located in Azare and Kwajjafa with bed capacities of 100 and 40 respectively, while the Marama Skills Acquisition Centre would empower women with various skills and trades in crop and livestock production.

Inaugurating the centre at Marama, Zulum said the community started the empowerment centre before state government completed it last year for usage.

He said the other two projects being commissioned, comprise a primary school and a healthcare centre to improve living conditions of people., just as he inspected ongoing reconstruction of Government Secondary School, Sakwa, and the District Head’s palace in Kwajjafa.
