Why will Boko Haram condemn Western education as haram (forbidden)? It is because those who are ruling Nigeria are those who possess Western education, and they are using it to exploit the masses, and creating mass abject poverty especially in northern Nigeria. But the sect was peaceful and living a secluded lifestyle until pursued for “unorthodox Islamic doctrine” by the privileged Muslim class in the north.

The Boko Haram Muslim sect is said to have existed in Nigeria since 2002, during the presidency of General Olusegun Obasanjo (OBJ), 1999-2007, but its existence never surfaced in Nigeria’s mass media until OBJ was succeeded by a Fulani Muslim, Umaru Musa Yar’Adua. Nigerians started hearing about a particular Muslim sect called Boko Haram condemning Western education and wanting to convert the entire Nigeria into an Islamic country with the Sharia as the law! The Yoruba say: Mo kò ó lápèjúwe (I met him/her requires explanation; such as where, when, and how did you meet him/her?). So, how did Nigeria contract terrorism?

Why will Boko Haram condemn Western education as haram (forbidden)? It is because those who are ruling Nigeria are those who possess Western education, and they are using it to exploit the masses, and creating mass abject poverty especially in northern Nigeria. But the sect was peaceful and living a secluded lifestyle until pursued for “unorthodox Islamic doctrine” by the privileged Muslim class in the north.

Nigeria’s human and material resources are squandered on upholding what President Buhari considers the gains of the jihad wars of Shehu Uthman Dan Fodio. Those wars established Muslim imperialism in Nigeria. The promoters of Muslim imperialism are currently destroying life in southwest Nigeria. Nigeria’s former slave drivers, the Western powers, are backing that imperialism, ignorantly or maliciously.
