SIR: This First Lady now wears recognition by Trump as a badge of honour, considering it a blessing. A blessing from a God who is now using the rampage and brigandage from terrorists in Nigeria as the ironic vehicle to her global recognition.

The terrorist activities are now one can suppose less tragic, subsumed under the more important accolades from a man no less sick in his mind than that of the terrorists in Nigeria.

How has recognition from Trump, a very divisive tyrant and racist diminished the pandemonium currently going on in Nigeria or how can it ever do? Trump is never a man to stand in salute of virtues, he thrives amidst chaos and banalities and places self glorification above the common good. A man that speaks of your country in such base and racist terms, promising to invade guns a blazing as though a Nobel prize is his anointing you with his stained corrupt fingers?

Something is clearly wrong with your visit to the White House or its purpose; something is wrong in spite of Trump finding you worthy of his praises. Or perhaps because of it.
Nigerian journalists should dig into it all. Trump never praises anything that has not chipped something into his portmanteau.

A scam of a man

If after all these years, you still believe Trump is a decent man,
you’re not being kind to the man. No matter how the ‘monkey tape’ might have slipped through the net to emerge in the public domain, a decent cultured man will apologise even as he offers full explanation for the indecencies.
But it’s part of a piece for Trump soul and soma.   Instrumentalising race has always been his go to resort in his exasperating pursuit of psychologic stability, the warped paddles to swim full speed in waters inhabited by the likes of him.

As president he must throw red meat time and again to test the waters to see how many of his canines still belong, still attentive and still willing to wag tails rallying at scurillous speeds to do his bidding.
It is midterm soon and nothing has begun to rattle his mind as much as the scare of the rug being pulled from under his feet anytime come  November, reducing him to a vulnerable  lame duck … a political  caricature

Impeachment not impossible, not improbable

He would throw the kitchen sink at forestalling such doom, ready to atomise America if need be along racial fissures as a tack to keeping midterm losses at bay.
Now fleeting around American power to the dismay of his electoral tribe which had earlier been conditioned to expect an America first isolationist posture stripped of overseas military expeditions leaves little assurance to retaining tribal fidelity.

His incapacity for self-restraint and megalomanic pathos disallowing him from resisting offshore adventures, a MAGA fidelity so delicately pinned on the promise of no foreign wars is now fraying by the ticking of the clock.
