The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State has distributed grassroots mobilisation vehicles branded with the names of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Shehu Buba Umar across the 20 local government areas of the state.
The vehicles were donated by the senator representing Bauchi South Senatorial District, Shehu Buba Umar, to support grassroots mobilisation for the president and his own governorship ambition.

The vehicles were officially handed over to the Bauchi State APC Chairman, Alhaji Muhammad Hassan Tilde, for onward distribution to the 20 local government chairmen to enhance the party’s outreach and grassroots presence.
Speaking during the handover ceremony at the APC Secretariat in Bauchi, Hon. Aminu Mohammed Danmalaki, who represented the senator, said the buses were distributed to strengthen the party’s structure and visibility at the grassroots.

He added that two additional buses would be allocated to the APC state headquarters, while three others would be assigned to the party’s zonal offices, bringing the total number of vehicles to 25.
Danmalaki noted that the gesture reflects Senator Shehu Buba’s commitment to democratic development and sustained support for the APC.

He also highlighted the senator’s contributions to key sectors, including health, agriculture, education, employment, and security, both within his constituency and across Bauchi State.
Describing Shehu Buba as a grassroots politician, Danmalaki said his understanding of the people’s needs positions him as a strong contender for the Bauchi State governorship in 2027.

On internal party disagreements, he acknowledged that such challenges are common in politics, particularly when multiple aspirants are involved, but expressed confidence that the party would remain united.
According to him, the donated vehicles would be deployed by party structures across the state to reach communities and promote APC candidates at all levels, including presidential, governorship, and legislative elections.

In his remarks, the Bauchi State APC Chairman, Alhaji Muhammad Hassan Tilde, commended Senator Shehu Buba for the donation and assured that the vehicles would be effectively utilised to strengthen mobilisation efforts.
He urged party members to remain loyal and united to secure victory for the APC in the 2027 general elections.

Meanwhile, Bauchi State APC has continued to grapple with internal tensions following the recent state congress that returned Hassan Tilde as chairman.
Aggrieved members and stakeholders have protested the outcome, delaying the formal inauguration of the party’s leadership.
