ADC picks Imoke to chair 2027 presidential Primaries

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has appointed former Cross River State governor Liyel Imoke and Abdulfatah Ahmed to lead key committees for its forthcoming party primaries.

Senator Imoke was appointed as Chairman of the Presidential Screening Committee, while former Kwara State Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed will head the Presidential Election Committee.

The appointments were announced in a statement issued by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi.

According to the statement, the committees were constituted as part of preparations for transparent, credible, and orderly primary elections.

The ADC stated that members of the committees were carefully selected to uphold fairness, transparency, credibility, and internal democracy throughout the primary process.
