Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has clarified that no decision has been reached on the proposed delineation of wards in Warri Federal Constituency of Delta State.

The National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, Olumekun, in a statement yesterday dismissed reports that it had suspended action on the delineation. He said the proposed delineation had not been suspended and no final decision had been taken on the matter.

The fresh ward and polling unit delineation fieldwork was prompted by the Supreme Court judgment of 2022, which had ordered INEC to conduct the exercise

INEC on April 4 presented the report on the delineation of wards and polling units in Warri Federal Constituency in Delta State to the Ijaw, Itsekiri, and Urhobo ethnic nationalities.
