Action Alliance (AA) candidate, Braimoh Oluyinka, believes the Supreme Court ruling will be in favor of his party, stating he is convinced that the integrity of the judicial process will work in his party’s direction.

The legal contest over the Kogi State gubernatorial election has advanced to the Supreme Court, where judgment has been reserved in the case between Action Alliance (AA) candidate Otunba Olayinka Braimoh and All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, incumbent Governor Usman Ododo.

Braimoh called upon all supporters and well-wishers of the Action Alliance to remain resolute, vigilant, and law-abiding.

In a press statement issued on Tuesday through Musa Yakubu, Media Aide of the Olayinka Braimoh Campaign Organisation, Braimoh reiterated his unwavering confidence in the Judiciary’s capacity to uphold justice, serving as the final bastion of hope for the common man.

“We implore all stakeholders to maintain their steadfast support for the peaceful pursuit of justice as we await the Supreme Court’s decisive ruling. Otunba Braimoh remains fully committed to upholding the rule of law and safeguarding the democratic will of the people of Kogi State.”

APC candidate and incumbent governor, Usman Ododo, was declared the winner after the governorship election in 2023.
