Masari sacks aides as Fintiri appoints SSG, cautions against lateness
Katsina State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari, has relieved all his special assistants of their appointments.This was contained in a statement issued by Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mustapha Inuwa, which disclosed that they were relieved of their appointments following expiration of Masari’s first term in office.
Masari had last Friday relieved all commissioners of their positions.The governor commended the aides for working with him and prayed for success and divine guidance in their future endeavours.
Also, Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has appointed his former Commissioner of Works, Bashir Ahmed, as Secretary to the State Government (SSG)
While swearing-in the new SSG, Fintiri directed Ahmed to step on toes where necessary and especially where in concerns the interest of Adamawa people, pointing out that Ahmed’s choice as SSG was based on his integrity, transparency, accountability and commitment to service.
Fintiri, who urged the SSG to clean the rot in the system, noted that his administration would not tolerate any acts that could negatively affect the development of the state and welfare of workers.
