Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has declared that the All Progressives Party (APC) led Federal Government cannot gag the opposition parties in the country, stating that it would not give up on wrestling power from them in 2019.

The Ondo State Chairman of the party, Clement Faboyede, said this yesterday when he was welcomed back to the state by party leaders and supporters at the state secretariat.

Meanwhile, Faboyede and the state Director-General of the Goodluck Jonathan Campaign Organisation in 2015, Tokunbo Modupe, were arrested and arraigned at the Federal High Court, sitting in Lagos by the EFCC.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had arrested the duo for money laundering estimated at N500 million during 2015 general elections. They were released on bail during the week.

But Faboyede, who described his arrest as victimisation by the ruling APC, said the PDP was more determined to send the former out of government next year at all levels.
