Why we endorsed Umeh as candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial zone, by COSEYL
The Coalition of South East Youth Leaders (COSEYL) said it endorsed the Labour Party (LP) candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial zone, Victor Umeh, due to his interest in the Igbo nation.
The apex socio-political youth group in the South East also said its choice of Umeh as preferred Senate candidate of the zone is anchored on the fact that after he was sworn-in by the then Senate President, Dr. Bukola Sakari, on January 18, 2018, he started defending and working for Ndigbo, insisting that he is the best candidate for Anambra Central zone.
In a statement, yesterday, COSEYL’s President General, Goodluck Ibem, and its Publicity Secretary, Okey Nwaoru, stressed that they arrived at the decision after a thorough appraisal of previous performance of all candidates contesting for the senatorial seat in the zone.
