In furtherance of its mission of providing a one-stop shop for the real estate market in Africa, the African Real Estate Society (AfRES) will hold its 18th annual conference in Abeokuta, Ogun state.

Awolaja stressed that the event was strategically taken to Abeokuta to showcase real estate development in that area as well as to permit a technical tour to Dangote Cement plant at Ibeshe, which is a symbol of African integration by the reason of its plants in parts of Africa.

Participants and delegates expected at the conference, he said include real estate developers, investors, researchers and academics all over the world including users of real estate services.

Also, Olawore, who is the chairman of AfRES Central Planning Committee, said the event provides an avenue for showcasing latest development in Africa real estate sector.

He stressed that it will also show that the latest ranking of Nigeria in the ease of doing business is not a fluke as many of the participants have already received confirmation of getting their visas on arrival.

The event, he said offers opportunity for Nigerians to learn from other African real estate market in terms of land titles, coding and in REIT.
