The government has been advised to enlarge property ownership space by encouraging investors in the real estate sector.A real estate developer, Chibuzo Odega, who disclosed this in an interview with The Guardian, said property ownership is a major key to wealth creation; it should be available to everyone regardless of his or her income status.

The trained medical doctor, turned property developer, said he ventured into the sector to make decent housing available to Nigerians and to add value to individuals through affordable real estate investments.

He said his company has decided to venture into the sector to make houses affordable with maximum comfort for their client.“All our properties are of extremely high value and of high investment potential, we make it a principle to invest in areas with minimum of about 50 per cent increase annually. We allow people to pay installments for duration of 24 months depending on the agreement and budget of our client,’ he stated.

Odega added: “Our prices are structured to accommodate people of different income gaps. We do this by seeking out locations in Nigeria with the fastest developmental rate and high return-on-investment, we develop gated housing estates to be equipped with the best infrastructure and amenities because we do not only provide comfort but maximum satisfaction and security for our esteemed clients. All our estates come with genuine and verifiable documents and are free from all forms of government acquisition or ownership disputes.

He advised those who want to go into the real estate business, to understand why they want to go into this line of business, have the drive, avoid jumping from one business to the other, always have at the mind to solve a particular need rather than see it as a money-making venture.
