A NEW residential development in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is already in the pipeline, as a firm, James Cubitt, UAE, has been appointed to deliver comprehensive works for a new master housing project, which would be known as ‘Pacific Village’.

James Cubitt got the nod of the owners of the project, Pacific Ventures Limited to provide the master plan as well as the architectural, interior, structural, civil, geotechnical, infrastructure including traffic engineering services for the development.
According to the company, “It is remarkable to be a part of Pacific Ventures teamwork. We’re literally designing and engineering a great city project.”

Upon completion, the project will deliver luxurious residential units and entertainment facilities in the middle of the village, which is located in Dubailand area.

It is projected that construction will start by late 2015 with major entertainment facilities adjacent the project location. The Pacific Development is expected to attract a greater share of the lucrative domestic and international tourism market to a city already garnering serious interest beyond the United Arab Emirates.

Speaking on the development, the Managing Director of James Cubitt, Mr. Oyediran Akinniranye, said “this is indeed a remarkable achievement for the Group. The scope of the project speaks to our ability as a company to deliver projects from concept to delivery and maintenance. It provides another opportunity for us to further consolidate our position as market leaders within the real estate industry.”

Akinniranye added that James Cubitt’s integrated urban experience in the Middle East also includes the Future City Project in Cairo and the Retirement Village in Brisbane.
Dubai has been identified as one of the ‘top places to go in 2015’.

Pacific Village is expected to both foster and grow the city’s Islamic way of life. It will be enhanced by great religious scenes, exceptional recreational culture, freedom of both genders to recreate privately, security for family members as well as accessibility to nearby tourist hot spots including luxury shopping malls like Dubai Mall.
The development is projected for delivery within three years.
