After a successful run in Nigerian cinemas in 2021, the movie, Soólè by Nollywood filmmaker and producer, Adunni Adewale, popularly known as Adunni Ade, which has been streaming on Netflix since October 14, 2022, has risen to the number one spot on the platform.

The movie, which grossed millions of Naira in the cinemas and got accolades for the storyline, theme, cast and aesthetics, has continued to gather positive reviews from audiences across the world thereby sustaining its lead on the streaming platform for weeks.

The storyline depicts a number of strangers who find themselves in a sticky situation after they discover a huge sum of money on a bus while on a trip to the East. Soólè is a comedy-drama that is sure to leave you at the edge of your seats with its intrigues, spectacles and plot twist.

Elated at the development of her debut film, Adunni Ade said she is grateful for all the positive feedback she has received on Soólè, stating that she is glad that people have found the film relatable.

Soólè is produced by AdunniAde’s production company, Lou-Ellen Clara Films, and directed by Kayode Kasum, who has directed box office hits such as Sugar Rush, Ponzi, Dwindle and more.

The movie also features talented superstars such as Sola Sobowale, Adedimeji Lateef, Femi Jacobs, Adunni Ade, Shawn Faqua, Meg Otanwa, Kelechi Udegbe and others.
