Nigerian Afro-gospel musician, Aiyeobasan Tosin Elijah, popularly known as Tosin Frettic Music Band, is set to headline a series of live performances in the United Kingdom as part of a six-month musical tour aimed at promoting Nigerian culture and sound.
The Ondo State-born artiste, who leads a 10-member band, will kick off the UK tour on July 30, 2026, with a “Welcome Show” at Success Hall, Old Kent Road, London.
The tour, scheduled to run until January 29, 2027, will feature performances across multiple venues, targeting the Nigerian diaspora and global music audience.
One of the major highlights of the tour is the “Call Me Sisi Eko” live performance slated for August 15, 2026, at the New Nollywood Entertainment Studio, Crown Commercial Centre, Nathan Way, London.
The event is being promoted by Topnotch Global Venture International Limited, with tickets pegged at £50.
According to the band’s manager, Lawal Taiwo Tomiwa, the tour will see the group perform in several halls across the UK, including a scheduled appearance on August 4, 2026, at TNLCM Media Hall in Dagenham, Essex. The band is also billed to perform alongside Ogunyinka Olalekan Olaitan of Eagle Band at a Juju music festival.
Aiyeobasan, born on May 5, 1984, began his musical journey in the church, where he developed as a lead vocalist and instrumentalist.
A member of the Celestial Church of Christ’s central choir and the Celestial Performing Artistes Association of Nigeria (CPAAN), he has contributed to church albums, anthems, and events, while gradually evolving into the mainstream music scene.
The Olabisi Onabanjo University graduate, who studied Industrial Chemistry, has further honed his craft with certifications in audiography and music production, and is currently undergoing training in sound design and Dante networking.
Over the years, he has collaborated with notable gospel artistes including Mega 99, Segun Nabi, and Kent Edunjobi. His performances, which blend gospel themes with Afrobeat rhythms, have gained traction, with many of his live shows available on his YouTube channel.
Organisers say the UK tour will not only showcase live performances but also provide an opportunity for the band to record and launch a full musical video, further expanding their global reach.
With growing international interest in Nigerian music, the tour underscores the expanding footprint of indigenous artistes on the global stage, while reinforcing cultural exchange through live entertainment.
