All sets as Desmond Esorougwe holds 4th African Brand Congress Awards in Lagos
The congress is an annual fiesta of best brains behind most successful and sought-after African brands.
According to the Convener, Desmond Esorougwe, the congress is designed to educate, engage and inspire brand managers and professionals in the pursuit of best practice in brand building and value creation.
It is a platform for all brand owners and industry players to discuss how brands in Africa can increase their global competitiveness.
He added: “Seeking to enhance professional development skill in the area that are most relevant to the business community today, the congress will provide hand-on skill building experience for brands and brand management community.
“The congress, therefore, expects participants from all over Africa, who will find a full year’s worth of thought-provoking, insightful and tangible ideals with speakers and peers throughout the event.
“The focus of the one-day congress will be to support in the journey of excellence in brand building, plus the issue of creating African global brands.”
Desmond is a well-rounded professional, possesses strong strategic planning and conceptual skills, with 15 years integrated brand management experience split between mainstream brand communications and experiential marketing.
Desmond, who has been at the forefront of developing brand management and branding as a profession in Nigeria, is the Chief Executive Officer/Registrar of the Institute of Brand Management of Nigeria.
