Fancy Acholonu Makes A U-Turn, Begs Ex-Lover Alexx Ekubo
THE news that US-based model, Fancy Acholonu, has made a u-turn and apologised to her ex-lover and popular Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo, asking him to take her back, has continued to trend. The model and entrepreneur publicly apologised to the actor early in the week, almost a year and two months after she called off their wedding.

But in a shocking twist, the actress took to her Instagram handle and announced on August 26, that the wedding in November was not going to hold.

Writing in a post days after she deleted pictures of the actor and un-followed him on Instagram, Fancy declared:  “I am writing to inform you officially that I have ended my relationship engagement and I have called off my wedding with Alexx Ekubo. I am aware that this may be a shock to many people. I have made the best decision for myself. It is important that everyone finds their happiness and live in their truth.”
That post got the social media space buzzing, leaving many wondering what may have led to her decision to call off the wedding to the busy Nollywood actor.
But in a post on Thursday, where she shared a picture of both of them, Fancy penned a message of forgiveness: “Like our shirt says, nothing makes sense when we are apart @alexxekubo you still have my heart. I miss you, I love you, and I’m truly sorry for all the hurt and pain you and your family went through with our breakup. My actions in how I handled things was out of my character. I should have controlled my emotions and not being so over reactive. I said too much, I did too much. Please forgive me, I’ve learned my lesson on how to handle situations better. I haven’t expressed myself properly. I’m not afraid to be vulnerable and say you, your family, and friends still mean the world to me. Losing you has felt like grief. Love heals’’.
