Bahamas collection clothing has concluded plans to donate groceries, essential food items, and articles of clothing to the less privileged in Edo state, Nigeria. These donations are part of their social responsibility outreach project targeted at the less privileged, orphans and widows in selected communities in Edo state.

Speaking on the initiative the ceo and founder of Bahamas Collection, Bright Okosodo aka “Richie Richie” said food items like rice, tubers of yam, bags of garri, cartons of noodles, beans, onions, canned tomatoes, seasoning cubes and articles of Bahamas collections clothing will be distributed during the outreach.

“We have made arrangements with some doctors through the Nigerian Medical Association Edo branch to participate and assist us by giving out free medical checks and diagnosis. Young girls will be given free sanitary pads and advice on sanitary hygiene from professionals while women will receive free cervical and breast cancer checks and tests as well.”

Bright also promised to make this an annual Bahamas collection outreach which will be held every February 14 celebrated worldwide as Valentine day.

“Val’s day is a season we all know as a day of giving and spreading love so we thought it best to hold this outreach every year during Valentine days between 14 & 15th February because these gifts will be valued more on that day by these recipients,” He said.

“My main motivation for this give back outreach is to encourage the youths and others who are in need that all hope is not lost”, he enjoined.

“The government cannot do everything alone, and so I plead with all well meaning Nigerians to also reach out and help the less privileged whenever they can so as to complement the efforts of the government”.
