Still ongoing is the downpour which of course is in its time and season, hence the need to set parameters for interior decorum with absolute simplicity and serenity, away from unnecessary (décor) items littered around the space.

Still ongoing is the downpour which of course is in its time and season, hence the need to set parameters for interior decorum with absolute simplicity and serenity, away from unnecessary (décor) items littered around the space.

Yes your interior space needs to breathe and this is because aside from the untidiness of ambiguity in the interior space, the humidity that comes with the rainy season intensifies with choked space due to excessive items. When humidity increases, moisture is saturated on the wall which causes mildew and mold.

So your best bet this season and every other season for that matter is to keep every nook and cranny of your interior space serene. More important your living room and bedroom should be kept free of excess items whether décor, furniture etc. Keep it simple and breathable.

However, if you discover any form of mold growth on your walls, rid them with the following steps:
. Open windows when it’s not rainy for ventilation.
. Turn on vent fans to free moisture
. Take out unnecessary items that choke the space from being properly ventilated.
. Get mold destroyer spray or dehumidifier.
. Keep your home humidity under control with humidity sensors preferably.
. Clean regularly and keep moisture prone sections of your interior dry.
