Jesse Flames releases new single ‘Flex’ featuring Jesse Jagz

Afrobeats singer and producer Jesse Nnaemeka Dibe, popularly known as Jesse Flames, has released a new single titled Flex, featuring Nigerian rapper Jesse Jagz.

The track, which was released on Friday across major streaming platforms, was described by Flames as a “full-circle moment” in his 10-year journey in the music industry.

Flames, who grew up in Lagos and is now based in London, said the collaboration represents persistence and growth after years of balancing songwriting, producing, and performing.

“Working with Jesse Jagz on Flex was a full-circle moment — he’s a powerhouse and one of the most respected voices in Nigerian music, and bringing our worlds together felt like history in the making,” Flames said.

Jagz, best known for projects such as Jag of All Tradez and Jagz Nation, Vol. 1, said the song is a reflection of Nigerian music’s growing global influence.

“When Jesse Flames reached out, I knew it was the right energy. Flex is a celebration of growth — his, mine, and the movement of Nigerian music on a global stage,” he said.

Flames has performed on several international stages, including the O2 Brixton Academy and OVO Arena Wembley. He has also worked with artistes such as Ice Prince, Oritse Femi and Falz.

Before Flex, Flames released Freaky Baby in May 2025, a club-inspired record which he said was created to celebrate boldness and beauty.
