Day Solidstar got Yaw, AY, Ossy Chievas rocking

It was beyond a hilarious moment as Achievas Entertainment frontman Solidstar made the crowd roar in excitement by bringing Yaw, his boss Ossy Achievas and veteran comedian AY on stage to engage in an intense dance battle at Yaw’s Shalanga which, held on Democracy Day at the Eko Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Having finished their stage play, the Wait Refix songster brought out the trio and bellowed at his fans to decide who the winner would be among them.

The crowd cheered as Yaw showed off his Shakiti Bobo skills, while Ossy Achievas gyrated with his cane in his hand – AY on the other hand made some hilarious corybantic moves!

The gig also featured musical performances by the likes of Olamide, Phyno, Burna Boy, Korede Bello and Solidstar. Other performances include sets from Reekado Banks, Naomi Mac, Koker, Lil Kesh, Adekunle Gold, CDQ, Splash, Immaculate, Tjan, Vintage Band, Reminisce and Ycee, while some notable comedians got slots to deliver jaw-breaking jokes.

Written and directed by Femi Branch, Shalanga, which will showcase the acting talents of Yaw and comedian AY, is a satirical take on the past and present of Nigeria in the last one year.
