Frontline disc jockey and hit-maker, Ayorinde Kehinde Okiki, who is well known in the entertainment industry as DJ Kaywise, and the self-proclaimed Eze Nunu cum Ezege Master, Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike, better known as Phyno has released the visual for the rave making record, Highway.

Since its release last December 18, the song has amassed over one million views on the largest streaming platform, YouTube. Delivered primarily in Igbo language, the record has been the result of its natural resonance, apt marketing and enviable plugging by its creator.

Produced by fast rising beat maker, Yung Willis, a record producer who has worked with some of the rave making music artistes in the country including Falz the Bahd Guy, the song has been Nigeria’s number one record since the turn of the year, even as popular internet sensations, Sidney Talker and Caramel Plug on January 1, created a viral dance video to it, and it has not looked back since then.

Recall that Willis had in a recent interview said that he actually started making beats while he was in secondary school, but realised his dream at the Afe Babalola University (ABUAD), Ekiti State, where people in school started meeting him to produce for them and never argued about his prices.

According to him, this gave him the confidence to know he could actually produce. He added that his rise to fame sort of happened fast, as he came to Lagos in 2018 and by the end of the year, he met with Falz and he worked on his hit song, Sweet Boy.
