Fashion is an integral part of social life and discerning young people will naturally develop a fashion sense as they grow up. This is the assertion made recently by Ayodele Donye Samson, the CEO of E4 Luxury Jewellers company.

Drawing from his personal experience, the high-flying jeweller recounted: “My love for fashion had been from my days as a young school kid. I had always loved dressing well and fancied things that make me look good. I kept the habit while in the university and even won awards and accolades from both the institution and the immediate bigger society. This unarguably became the significant factor that aided my career choice.”

Reflecting on his memorable moments as a jeweller, the E4 Luxury CEO reminisced: “It’s always memorable when you make outstanding success in business or when you hit the big bag and strike good deals. Accomplishments are sweet memories. And for me, there have been many noteworthy moments as a jeweller.”

Speaking also on the notion of Nigerians’ inordinate love for jewellery, Ayodele Donye Samson offered a perspective. “Fashion in Nigeria keeps evolving. Right now, Nigerians are very classy people with a heightened sense of fashion and a love for luxury jewels. And with jewellery being an important feature of fashion, it has been employed by Nigerians to show class and wealth. To that extent, Nigerians really love jewellery. And for us in the business side of jewellery, that has been really encouraging and it keeps us relevant,” he stated.

The E4Luxury boss also voiced his assessment of the jewellery market in Nigeria. According to him, the jewellery market has been thriving.

“It keeps on growing and many more people are venturing into the business now, creating the kind of competition that gives a chance for everyone to flourish,” he said.
