The Eid-al-Fitr is a religious celebration by Muslims all over the world to mark the end of the month-long Ramadan fast.

For them, it’s a time for celebration, religious events, preparing a feast for family and friends and dressing up in the finest clothes and jewellery.

It is no secret that Nigerians are very fashionable and our Muslim sisters are no different.

From lovely floral print Abayas to tiered monochrome outfits, very colourful Ankara prints and stunning hijabs, Muslim women know how to turn out in the very best fashion possible. Beautiful jewelleries would be used generously but remember to mix and match properly.

Also take into cognizance the weather, it has been raining throughout the week and you wouldn’t want to wear what would easily be ruined if there happens to be rain.

Also take note of your footwear; if you are going to be moving around a lot, you need to wear something that would be comfortable for movement. Better still, after prayers at the mosque, you can change into beautiful slippers that would help you move around visiting friends and family or just staying home.

As usual, we have put together some looks and styles that would make you swoon about “modest fashion” and possibly guide you in putting together your Eid look.
