Fintech bank rolls out first winners in new campaign

PalmPay has announced the first batch of winners in its Valentine-themed #LoveWithPalmPay campaign, following a week of entries from users nationwide who shared personal stories of how simple financial moments strengthened their relationships.

The two-week campaign, which commenced on February 9 and runs through February 21, celebrates real-life love stories shaped by everyday transactions on the PalmPay platform. According to the company, the initiative highlights how seamless transfers, bill payments, shared savings goals and routine financial support can deepen bonds between couples.

The first four selected winners are Abdulsalam Aishat Omowumi (Facebook), Symply Omotoshan (Instagram), Unusual_aaron (TikTok) and MTN_DATA_VENDOR (X).

Speaking on the campaign, the Head of Marketing at PalmPay, Olorunfemi Hanson, said the initiative is designed to appreciate the platform’s over 35 million users and showcase the diverse ways they rely on the app for daily financial needs.

“We are using the campaign to appreciate our over 35 million users and the many ways they use the PalmPay app to make life seamless. The four couples, each rewarded with ₦100,000, were chosen based on how effectively they highlighted PalmPay’s features and demonstrated how the platform helped make their everyday payments reliable and seamless,” he said.

The company added that with the campaign still ongoing, four additional couples will be unveiled in the coming days, urging more users to participate by sharing their love stories on its social media platforms using the hashtag #LoveWithPalmPay.

PalmPay noted that the campaign underscores its commitment to building financial solutions that not only simplify transactions but also foster meaningful connections through everyday money moments.
