Africa’s richest woman, Folorunsho Alakija, is presently taking another leap.

Informed sources said she is spending about N60billion on an edifice, which is still under construction and in which she is said to have so far spent N6billion on the 22-floor property, called Famfa Towers, located on Alfred Rewane Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, and has reserved the last five floors for her personal use.

Many corporate organisations are already said to have indicated interest in securing space in the facility when completed.

Folorunsho is one of the richest black women in the world, temporarily unseating Oprah Winfrey in 2014 as the richest woman of African descent in the world.
