Garland for actress Folashade ‘Lepa Shandy’ Omoniyi at 50

Congratulatory messages have continued to pour in for popular Yoruba actress Folashade Omoniyi who clocked 50 on Tuesday. Popular as ‘Lepa Shandy’, an alias she earned from a character she played in a movie of same title, the Osun native who joined the entertainment industry in the early 90’s, took to her social media handle to share a picture of herself with the inscription ‘50’.

The slim built actress who is married with children then wrote: “Dear God, on this great day that I turn golden 50, I don’t want to be greedy and ask anything more from you, for I know you have blessed me with a lot. I am glad I have the ability to see and appreciate all the amazing blessings bestowed upon my life. Thank you so much, dear Lord. Being able to see my 50th birthday in great health and joy is my greatest accomplishment in life. Happy birthday to me.”
