As an avant-garde beneficiary of his crafts and in honour of his special day, I join others to say happy birthday.”

A filmmaker in the professional class who has over 30 years of cognate field experience in TV/ Film & Radio production, encompassing Advertising, Marketing, New Media production and Multi-Media communication, including 25 years as a  Film Producer/Director, Andy Amenechi contribution to the growth of Nollywood is significant, which is why it will be difficult to tell the story of Nollywood without a mention of the director of Mortal Inheritance (1996), Rituals (1997), Oracle (1998), the multiple award-winning Igodo (1999), Oduduwa (2000), Oracle (2002), Egg of Life (2003), and Don’t Leave Me (2022).
